Around 8 p.m., Vermont State Police say they were on patrol near mile marker 37 on Interstate 91 when a car driven by Springfield, Vt. resident Sean Lowden was allegedly stopped in the northbound lanes for speeding and a marked lanes violation. Troopers say Lowden, a 37-year-old, consented to a search of his vehicle and that is when 78 bags of heroin, weighing approximately 2.48 grams, were found. Lowden was arrested for possession of heroin and transported to the Rockingham State Police Barracks for processing. He was also issued a written warning for the alleged traffic violations and held at the Southern State Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court on May 6.
Once again the driver of the vehicle 'consented to a search'. I really do wish someone would explain why he did that.
ReplyDeleteNo search...then u r assumed to be guilty.
DeleteJust like DWI...refuse breath test and you ARE guilty.
And that Monty is a fact, read the state law / instructions for DWI.
Am more curious about the low bail
ReplyDeleteThe drugs made him do it.
ReplyDeleteNot guilty!!!! Released and told by the judge, don't do it again!!! Just a prediction....
Probably because he left his PhD back at his apartment and just wasn't thinking straight!
ReplyDeleteAnother "Dirt Bag" from the community of Springfield. This at one time was a wonderful community of hardworking citizens that pulled their own weight! Everyone wants to live like a "Gangsta". The State of Vermont needs to change laws to assist the local Police with the means to do their jobs. It is certainly not from the lack of trying! It must be frustrating for law enforcement to make arrest and see "Losers" like this get a slap on the hand and allowed to continue to bring poison into our beloved community of Springfield.
ReplyDeleteThis is kid is a down right LOSER! He has TWO children. ONE of which he HAS NEVER MET, doesn't help support, could care less about. The other he last seen when she was TWO MONTHS old, she is now a year and a half. As well as shows no support, doesn't ask how she is, etc. His brother died over a drug over dose. He is a poor excuse for a human. He's disgusting, worthless! He turns to this crap to make a living. Go out and get a job like a normal person, go to school, get a CLUE! Once a loser, always a loser. Once a deadbeat, always a deatbeat, ONCE A SCUMBAG, ALWAYS A SCUMBAG!!!!!!
