    1. Not in NOSAG's agenda - pollution potential is minimal. The state probably doesn't allow careless offal disposal. The only pollution may be aural - as described in "Silence of the Lambs".

    2. what about the increased truck traffic and people commuting to work at this pant? And the noise pollution of the animals screaming. I demand a meeting with the PSB to close this plant.

  3. Shumlin later said when he first became governor, Vermont farmers faced an enormous shortage of meat-processing capacity. That problem has been solved, he said.

    NO THANKS TO HIM!

Black River Produce rang up $64 million in sales last year, Shumlin said, and $22 million of that was “born and raised here in Vermont.”

    NO THANKS TO HIM.

Go home, Shumey. Just go home.

  4. Let's see....

additional truck traffic to bring in the animals...

    hazardous waste...

    odors...

additional vehicle traffic from the estimated 60 new employees...

the only explanation I can think of is some of these retirees need a job to help pay the attorneys who helped save them from the specter of increased truck traffic, poor air quality and fictitous pollutants from the biomass plant.
