To ANONYMOUS 5/28/14, 8:15 PM: How can "we" say that when, since the student's name was (correctly) not released, "we" do not know the student has a brother? "We" also don't know the student is male. Nobody going by the article can possibly agree with you.

If you think you have inside info, and think that people would believe you, why would you want to divulge personal information about a high school student in a forum like this?

Or do you just want to intimate that **you** have inside info - even as you post anonymously? What in the world could that do for you?

    1. It was a male. He has a brother. The brother is in jail.

I don't know if the syndrome has changed over the years, but historically pediatric arson was perpetrated by children subject to severe abuse, usually by family members. If it is still the case, how should this child be handled?

  4. I would think that as it stated the fire was in the boy's bathroom, that we are talking about a "him", but that may be presumptuous.

  5. When I was at SHS, we had a walk-out, kids smoking in the bathrooms, numerous fire alarms pulled, kids setting fire to toilet paper, a car that exploded, and an intentional mercury spill. OH NO NOT A PAPER TOWEL!!!!! Nothing has changed, give me a break!!!!
