Vt. Supreme Court orders new Bolaski bail hearing

The state Supreme Court has ordered a new bail hearing for Kyle Bolaski, who is awaiting a new trial after the Supreme Court overturned his second-degree murder conviction last month.

  1. Can we get something right without having to demonstrate our incompetence all the way to the Supreme Court?

  2. Whether Mr. Bolaski is guilty or innocent will be determined by the court. His prior conviction has been thrown out by a higher court which means that his status is the same as it was before his first trial. Whatever happened to the presumption of innocence guaranteed by our Constitution?

    1. Many of the rights guaranteed by our Constitution and protected by our military veterans have been voided by the Congress and Courts, to better serve a people who would rather be "safe" than be free. The people, a majority of which thinks the Constitution is subversive, have meekly accepted shackles. On Memorial Day, they should hand their heads in shame, because they have betrayed our honored dead.
