Bail for Bolaski still unclear

Kyle Bolaski is likely to spend another couple of weeks in jail, but his parents are still hopeful that their son, who is charged with second-degree murder but has said the shooting was in self-defense, will soon be able to return to their Springfield, Vt., home.

  1. I have what could be shocking news for the Tamburello's, your son Vinny was a bully, thug, druggie punk. With that said Bolaski was not much better. This is what happens when those worlds clash. If Vinny was still roaming the streets of Springfield the "community" would be no safer. He proved that with his own actions. Both of these clowns went looking for trouble that faithless day and found it. Two lives' were loss one way or another. Personally I don't care if Bolaski stays in jail or I pay him to pump my gas some day, what I don't need is to hear from the Tamburello's about poor Vinny and their concern to keep my community safe. If they really want to help do that maybe dealing with our drug problem, which their son was part of, would be a step in the right direction.

    1. Thank you! Mayne if the Tamburello's had been this concerned about their son and his drug using ways, "poor Vinny" might not be taking the long nap with a dirt blanket.

  2. Tired of reading about Bolaski and his parents' campaign to set him free. Just wait and publish the article containing the final decision on bail, but spare us the repeated swill about this case.

  3. What is the point of arresting someone for murder and then setting them free to run or murder another person? Keep Kyle Bolaski locked up where he belongs like the rest of the scumbags that shoot people. I am tired of hearing about his parents and their stories. They know they raised a villian but they refuse to admit it publicly.

  4. While I am sympathetic with the three earlier comments here, the fact of the matter is we have returned to the status quo ante in this case and the White River Junction court needs to quit delaying a decision. I want to make it clear that I am not for or against Mr. Bolaski; however, our district court needs to recognize that its earlier decision has been overturned and Mr. Bolaski's right to reasonable bail conditions needs to be recognized. To do anything else denies him his constitutional right to a presumption of innocense which our American justice system is based on.

    1. Well said. Thank you for being non-biased . The law is the law, and peoples rights are theirs, regardless of who they are or what they are accused of doing.

  5. Release Bolaski and let him clean up downtown.
