The dealer partnership between local installer Net Zero Renewable Resources, LLC and Williston, VT-based solar tracker manufacturer AllEarth Renewables was announced today.
The first AllSun Trackers installed by Net Zero Renewable Resources were commissioned on June 4 at a home in Springfield, where the solar energy will offset both the home’s traditional electric use as well as the electricity used for geothermal heating. The project, consisting of two 7.2kW trackers, paired high efficiency 300 watt LG panels with the high efficiency dual-axis tracker.
With offices in Chester, Net Zero Renewable Resources is a renewable energy company that provides full service solar engineering, design, installation, and equipment services for residential and commercial customers.
AllSun Trackers use innovative GPS and wireless technology to follow the sun throughout the day to boost solar energy production by up to 45 percent over roof-top installations. The ground-mounted solar systems are designed for homes, businesses, non-profits, and commercial-scale installations.
Electrical boards for the tracker are produced in Springfield, VT at local products manufacturer PCM Manufacturing.
A single solar tracker will produce enough to power most of an average Vermont home.

Can anyone agree with me that these solar panels are ugly as heck. Look at the intersection going to rutland by the airport. I agree we need to put up solar panels but they need to put tall shrubs around these solar farm s. What happen to our views we are trying to cherish. I think it looks just as bad as a billboard. These investors should be made to hide thses panels. Just my food for thought.
ReplyDeleteI fully agree. Free standing solar arrays should either be only allowed in fields along back roads or be appropriately landscaped to hide them view.
