The case of the missing letters
The Springfield sign that was recently erected on the hill across from 100 River Street has been vandalized.

Hi there, I know its out of your usual scope but I was wondering if you would consider posting an appeal for the missing letters? Maybe people will be more willing to say something if they are anonymous. Also you could warn any future vandals that tthe poison ivy around the sign is thick and potent. I speak from experience! :-) thanks for your consideration. - Honor

Springfield, the slouching town of giant murals, eponymous signs and logos. The more desperate the town becomes, the more tacky and gimmicky it gets.
