Rescue from Eden

On February 25th, more than 60 animals — mainly dogs — were rescued from a home in Eden, VT where they were living in appalling conditions. The Springfield Humane Society took in some of them.

The Springfield Humane Society (also known as SHS) is an animal shelter located in Springfield, VT Over 300 animals come through their doors each year and find FURever homes! On Feb 25th 2015, Dozens of animals were rescued from an Eden VT home. Police said the animals “were being housed in appalling conditions, most without access to clean water, food and sanitary living conditions.” Some of those animals have now been placed at various shelters across the state. Springfield Humane Society has taken in 3 cats, 3 puppies and a "Pocket Pit" from this rescue. So far, all have had their vaccines and will be spayed/neutered and will be up for adoption soon!! I am a volunteer at the shelter and I started this campaign in hopes to get some much needed money donated to help ALL THE ANIMALS AT THE SHELTER Any donation is appreciated. Please share... Thanks!
