Police capture Springfield murder suspect Posted: Apr 23, 2015 10:17 AM EDT Updated: Apr 23, 2015 11:11 AM EDT By WCAX NewsCONNECT Gregory Smith Gregory Smith BURLINGTON, Vt. - The man wanted for a murder in Springfield has been captured by police. Authorities say Gregory Allen Smith, 30, of Springfield, was arrested in Londonderry, Vermont, this morning. Smith has been on the loose since Saturday evening, when police say he shot Wesley Wing, 37. Wing was shot four times in the chest and torso, but managed to make his way to a store, where he told people there he had been shot. He later died at the hospital in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Smith had been on the lam since Saturday in a stolen car. Keene police arrested Smith's girlfriend, Kristin Walsh, Tuesday, for allegedly trying to help Smith evade capture, for trying to coerce witnesses and for lying to police about Smith's whereabouts. She's due in court next week.
I said it before and will say it again to all you idiots who think you can get away from the law, you can't, they will get you every time, be it bank robbery, murder and everything else that falls in those types of crimes. So clean up your act(s) while you are still ahead, Mr / Mrs macho punks.
