Something is wrong here. Maybe close it?
ReplyDeleteYou only have to drive by the station after dark to see the attraction. The place glows like a beacon, there are no other businesses nearby. Add knowledge that the video system is substandard and previous robbers are still not apprehended... Irving and maybe Springfield need to change something.
DeleteMy goodness....really? This is ridiculous!
ReplyDeleteReally! You must be kidding me when will the Police Dept. put someone out there or drive by more often! Not until someone gets shot.....
ReplyDeleteHow is this the police depts issue? Obviously the owner and manager aren't smart enough to hire security or install better cameras and the village idiots know it and keep going back. Owner needs to take more responsibility for what's happening. Sure that will happen......not
DeleteInside job?
ReplyDeleteIts really quite simple. Install a 12 gauge outside the store that can be activated when the thief leaves. Go out pick up what's left, hang it in a tree nearby with a sign. OK WHO'S NEXT
ReplyDeleteThis station is not an never was OWNED by Irving it is owned by Midway oil and sells Irving fuel
ReplyDeleteHate to say this, but this is one Springfield business that I would like to see closed.
ReplyDeletePerhaps their motto ought to be "Cash registers open, we'll leave a light on for ya."
ReplyDeleteA Guide to Robbery Prevention and Response to Robbery
ReplyDeleteThank you for this interesting post. I hope the owners of the store are aware of this information.
DeleteGood info. Has the gas station used any of it?
DeleteI have tried helping the ladies there but the company is dragging its feet. Almost caught the guy once and the keystone cops know who it is but wont arrest them until they catch them red handed. Hands tied all the way around.
DeleteHire a cashier thats willing to shoot! What about a phony cop car with heavy tinted windows? No one would roll the dice not knowing for sure!
ReplyDeleteInside job. No way would they still have any employees left.
