Introduction to the World Language Program

At Springfield High School, there is a new requirement that every student must take at least two years of a world language in order to graduate.

  1. is this state mandated or something the district came up with themselves,some of the students have a hard enough time with their core classes and doing community service,they just keep putting more on the student's plate

  2. It is not a Local or state requirement that every student must take at least two years of a world language in order to graduate. That information is wrong.

  3. Then why are they cutting world language teaching positions...some to 1/2 time??

  4. With the way things are going everyone will be forced to speak and write Mandarin in a few years...
