Silver lining to scarce snow: More money for road work

Scarce snow this winter required fewer hours of snowplowing and less use of sand and salt leaving Springfield, Vermont and other northern New England communities with extra money for road maintenance and other transportation projects this summer.

    1. The daily self-inflicted genocide in and around Chicago is old boring news. Just another sign that restrictive gun laws work. Focusing on the lack of snow and its economic impact in Vermont is much more relevant and exciting.
