Despite starting their inaugural season 0-2, the Cosmos have been in both contests right down to the wire. In fact, they've led at the half both times. “We led halfway through,” said Springfield coach Marc Thomas of Wednesday's 34-28 loss to Hartford. “It just got real close at the end.” Jade Craft and Lance Robinson shared scoring honors for the Cosmos, pumping out 10 points apiece. Cam Colon added six more and Gavin Glidden chipped in two. Dalton LeMay paced Hartford with 20 points. Springfield will hold its first home game April 14 when unbeaten Mill River comes to Riverside Middle School for a 3:30 p.m. tip-off.
