SPRINGFIELD — Heather Hall will take on a new role as the director of the Springfield Senior Center beginning in early July.
Hall will begin working with outgoing Senior Center Director Terri Emerson on Tuesday, July 5, according to Emerson.
Emerson plans to retire on Aug. 31, following a vacation beginning July 15. She has been with the center for the past 17 years.
Town Manager Tom Yennerell made the announcement on Friday, June 17 about the new hire.
Emerson said the center is planning a party in September to formally introduce the new director to the community.
