Police seek convicted drug dealer who escaped from furlough

Springfield Probation and Parole (SPP) is seeking the public’s help to locate Melissa DiMartino, 41, who remains at large after escaping from furlough from Southern State Correctional Facility (SSCF) last week.

  1. Probably got high and knew she wouldn't pass the drug test on her return, so she ran. Well, I guess she's been integrated back into the community... the DRUG community!

  2. Not much of a punishment to let people out on "furlough" before their sentence is served. Another example of how the lenient treatment of criminals fails. This clown couldn't even follow simple rules that set her free to prey once again upon society before her sentence was completed. Now they will waste thousands of dollars trying to lock the perp up again.

  3. "American Indian" woman....yeah RIGHT, what a crock. Her last name used to be Penn. 100% mutt like the rest of us. Just a matter of time before she screws up and gets caught/locked up again - hardly smart enough to evade for too long.
