Wanted Person - Fugitive From Justice
Case #: 16SF03783
Investigating Officer: Sgt. Jeremy Fitzgibbons
Date of Arrest: July 22, 2016 4:15 p.m.
Defendant: Melissa Hatch, 45, Woodstock, VT
The Springfield Police Department was notified that Hatch, who was allegedly wanted out of the State of Maine, was possibly working at a business in Springfield. Hatch was located and taken into custody for allegedly being a Fugitive from Justice. 
Hatch was lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 bail and was arraigned on July 25th in Windsor County Criminal Court.



DUI 
Case #: 16SF03671
Investigating Officer: Officer Cori Santagate
Date of Arrest: July 17, 2016 5:30 p.m.
Defendant: Donald Eames, 62, Springfield VT
On 7/17/16 Officers were called to investigate the report of a motor vehicle crash on Chester Rd. The vehicle had struck a guard rail and after an investigation the operator, Donald Eames was arrested for the alleged offense of DUI.
Eames was issued a citation to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on September 13th, 2016 to answer to the above alleged offense.



Disorderly Conduct
Case #: 16SF03816
Investigating Officer: Cpl. Michael Gilderdale
Date of Arrest: July 24, 2016 at 8 a.m.
Defendant: Glenn Prior, 71, Springfield VT
Officer's were dispatched to the Springfield Park and Ride for a report of a male subject allegedly displaying a stun gun and activating it. 
Allegedly the man pointed it in the direction of a man walking on the bike path and activated it while talking to the man. The action caused the victim to stop his walk and call for a ride due to concerns on what the man was doing. A female parking at the park and ride also witnessed the event and left the park and ride do to her fears. 
Glenn Prior was arrested for allegedly acting in a manner consistent with disorderly conduct. 
Prior was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on August 30th to answer to the above alleged offense.



Domestic Assault & Violation Conditions of Release
Case #: 16SF03850
Investigating Officer: Cpl. Michael Gilderdale
Date of Arrest: July 25, 2016 at 4 p.m.
Defendant: Brittney Carleton, 20, Springfield VT
Officers responded to a report of an assault. Following investigation, Carleton was arrested for allegedly assaulting her boyfriend.
Carleton was issued a citation to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on July 26th to answer to the above alleged offenses.



Simple Assault and Violation Conditions of Release (VCOR)
Case #: 16SF03475
Investigating Officer: Officer Cori Santagate
Date of Arrest: July 7, 2016 11:30 p.m.
Defendant: Nina Clark, 35, Springfield VT
On 7/7/16 Officers responded to a reported dispute at 120 Main St. During the investigation it was found that Nina Clark had allegedly violated her conditions of release, and assaulted another individual. 
Clark was arrested for the alleged VCOR and Assault and lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility-Springfield in lieu of $1,000 bail. 
Clark was arraigned on July 8th in Windsor County Criminal Court.



Violation of Conditions 
Case #: 16SF03659
Investigating Officer: Sgt. Jeremy Fitzgibbons
Date of Arrest: July 17, 2016 1:00 a.m.
Defendant: Tony Jones, 35, Springfield VT
During an investigation, it was determined that Jones was allegedly under the influence of alcohol which was a violation of his court ordered conditions of release.
Jones was issued a citation to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on August 23, 2016 to answer to the above alleged charge.



Arrest on Warrant & False Info. to a Law Enforcement Officer

Investigating Officer: Cpl. Michael Gilderdale
Date of Arrest: June 21, 2016 10:34 06-21-2016 / 1034
Defendant: Daniel Rosales, 21, North Springfield VT
Springfield Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle for a motor vehicle violation. The front seat passenger (Rosales) allegedly provided a false name. After Rosales was accurately identified he was found to allegedly have a warrant for his arrest.
Rosales was issued a citation to appear in Windsor County Criminal
Court on June 22nd (Warrant) and on August 9th (False Info) and was subsequently lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility-Springfield 50,000 cash/surety (Warrant) / No bail on False Info.



Domestic Assault & Violation of Conditions of Release
Case #: 16SF03586
Arresting Officer: Officer Ryan Prince
Date of Arrest: July 13, 2016 7:15 p.m.
Defendant: Elizabeth Stuart-Wilhelmy, 22, Springfield VT
On 07/13/2016 at approximately 5:43 p.m. officers were dispatched to a residence on Breezy Hill Road for a report of a female subject who had assaulted someone in the residence. 
Through investigation it was determined that Elizabeth Stuart-Wilhelmy had allegedly assaulted a family member and had also allegedly violated a condition of her release. 
Elizabeth was taken into custody and transported to the Springfield Police Department. Elizabeth was issued a citation to appear in court on July 14th to answer to the alleged charges of Domestic Assault and Violation of Conditions of Release. Elizabeth was then lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash or surety bail.

Arresting Officer: Officer Steven Neily
Date of Arrest: June 3, 2016 9:00 p.m.
Defendant: Jared Stockman, 34, Springfield VT
Springfield Police were dispatched River Street in Springfield, VT for a report of possible counterfeit money attempting to be passed. 
Upon investigation, Jared Stockman was cited into Windsor Superior Court-Criminal Division on August 9th for alleged Violation of Conditions of Release.



Petit Larceny 
Case #: 16SF02495
Arresting Officer: Sgt. Molgano
Date of Arrest: July 9, 2016 10:45 p.m.
Defendant: Anthony King, 27, Springfield VT
King was issued a citation to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on August 30th to answer to the alleged charge of Petit Larceny for allegedly stealing money from a local retail store.



Violation of an Abuse Prevention Order
Case #: 16SF03499
Arresting Officer: Detective Shaun Smith
Date of Arrest: July 9, 2016 6:00 am
Defendant: Tony Jones, 35, Springfield VT
On 07/09/2016 officers arrested Tony Jones for allegedly violating an abuse prevention order. Jones was lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility on a Hold Until Sober Condition, and was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on July 11th.



Retail Theft & Violation Conditions of Release
Case #: 16SF02577
Arresting Officer: Cpl Gilderdale
Date of Arrest: June 9, 2016 5:00 p.m.
Defendant: Jared Stockman, 34, Springfield VT
Jared Stockman was allegedly video tapped stealing cigarettes from the Penguin Mart. He allegedly violated his Conditions of Release also.
Stockman was issued a citation to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on August 9th to answer to the above alleged offenses.



Simple Assault & Disorderly Conduct

Date of Arrest: June 30, 2016
Defendant: Tamara Strom, 26, Springfield VT (Assault)
Melissa Rabtoy, 41, Springfield VT (Assault)
Mason Rabtoy, 19, Springfield VT (Disorderly)
Aaron Montgomery, 26, Springfield VT (Disorderly)
On 06/30/2016 at approximately 2018 hours, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Park Street and Union Street for a report of an alleged altercation between several subjects. 
After a brief investigation, subjects were issued citations to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on August 23rd to answer to their respective offenses of Simple Assault/Disorderly Conduct.
