Area radio stations changing hands

According to filings with the Federal Communications Commission, several radio stations in the region are about to be sold.


VINIKOOR FAMILY FOUNDATION, INC. is selling Classical WSCS/NEW LONDON, NH to ROBERT and JOHN LANDRY's SUGAR RIVER FOUNDATION, INC. of Needham, MA for $10,000.

In addition, SHEILA E. VINIKOOR as estate seller is selling News-Talk WNTK-F/CLAREMONT, NH and KOOR COMMUNICATIONS, INC. is selling Country WCVR-A/RANDOLPH, VT; Country WCNL-A/NEWPORT, NH; News-Talk WUVR-A and W255CF/LEBANON, NH; AC WCFR-A (SPRINGFIELD'S VARIETY WCFR) and W293BH/SPRINGFIELD, VT; and W234BN/CLAREMONT, NH to SUGAR RIVER for $1.95 million ($97,000 down, $1.493 million at closing, $360,000 in a promissory note).
