Football: Springfield 47, Missisquoi 16
Matt Lachepellle had three rushing touchdowns and also returned a kickoff for a score to help power the Cosmos to the win over Missisquoi in Springfield's first football trip to the border community.

FOOTBALL Springfield 47, Missisquoi 16
SWANTON — Matt Lachepellle had three rushing touchdowns and also returned a kickoff for a score to help power the Cosmos to the win over Missisquoi in Springfield’s first football trip to the border community.
Freshman Jacob Stepler added an interception return for a touchdown and also ran for another.
Kyle Monier ran for another score for the Cosmos and freshman Ryan Kirker had a pick six. Ryan McSally contributed two interceptions to the defensive effort.
The Cosmos host Oxbow this week.
