Cosmos field hockey wins sixth straight
STAFF REPORT
SPRINGFIELD — The Cosmos roared to their sixth straight victory to improve to 7-3.
They got two-goal performances from Angelina Bigwood and Emily Therrien and Anna Parker scooped up five saves to log the shutout.
The Slaters fell to 1-9 but had their own highlights, with Anna Breslen netting a goal and MiKayla Beebe logging an assist, and Emily Clement notching 20 saves in a busy afternoon of work.
The Slaters are off until next Wednesday when they visit Burr and Burton.
