After a messy campaign, some Springfield voters are voting reluctantly, or not at all

The number of registered voters in Vermont might be at a record high, but on Election Day, it will still come down to who shows up to vote.

  1. I hope Springfield residents passing on voting in the Presidential Election will still vote in the local house race.

If people do not like what Springfield has become, why do they continue to send the same leadership to Montpelier?

  2. Claiming you are "not voting" because you don't like Hillary and Trump is like saying you are "not driving" because you don't like Ford or Chevy. There are lots of other options, not to mention there are lots of other things to vote for on the ticket than just "President". No excuses people - go vote, or shut up.

Please vote, there are a lot of important local issues that have been debated in a civil manner by local candidates, and there is an important School ballot item up for a decision. There have been several local forums and you can find local candidate positions on social media.

  5. Though both presidential candidates are dorks, they are not the same sort of dork. There is still a choice. Choose your dork!
