Free wrestling scrimmage for girls & boys, K-8

New to the sport? Want to knock off some rust, pre-season? Not sure what wrestling is all about?

The Springfield VT Wrestling Team invites everyone to come and watch or join the fun from 9 am till 12 noon on Saturday, November 19th. Boys and girls in grades K-8 from Vermont, NH, and MA are invited to a free morning of scrimmage at Riverside Middle School, 13 Fairground Road in Springfield VT. Anyone hitting the mats should wear either a wrestling singlet or tight-fitting tees and shorts, wrestling shoes or clean sneakers. The format will be simple and allow for every wrestler to have as many matches as they would like.

The event is completely free to watch and to participate; come give it a try! In lieu of a fee, the team requests donations of non-perishable items that will be donated to the Springfield Family Center's food shelf. Various team items will be available for sale, along with a simple concession stand.

Any questions should be directed to Kelly Stettner at k.stettner101@gmail.com or by leaving a message at (802) 738-0456.
