Crown Point Pub will be selling burgers, hotdogs, chili, fries and drinks all weekend. New this year are the indoor kids’ activities on Saturday, Feb. 11. Troy Wunderle’s Big Top Adventures will be there to dazzle from noon to 4 p.m. along with face-painting with Mona Frye and paper crafts with the Springfield Art Gym. Springfield High School students will be hosting a variety of games including Bowling, Bean Bag Toss, Snowball Toss, Plinko and Spin a Prize. Then help build luminaries to line the driveway and convert cardboard to snow crafts for Sunday’s Cardboard Sled Race. Satisfy your sweet tooth with Sugar on Snow with syrup donated by Ferguson Farm. Friday, Feb. 10 5 p.m. — Crown Point Pub open serving food and drink. 6 to 9 p.m. — Bonfire, skating and sledding under the lights. Free hot chocolate all evening Saturday, Feb. 11 11a.m. — Open skating and sledding Noon to 4 p.m. — Wunderle’s Big Top Adventures and kids’ activities in Crown Point Pub 1 p.m. — Broom Hockey Tournament (please pre-register teams) 5 to 9p.m. — Open skating and sledding with music by DJ Mike Brehme 5:30 p.m. — Announcement of Snowman Competition winners 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. — Free shuttle bus service from Riverside Middle School 7:30 p.m. — Fireworks sponsored by Atlas Fireworks and Kelley Sales and Service 7:45 p.m. — Bonfire Sunday, Feb. 12 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. — Open skating and sledding Noon — Cardboard Sled Race (Rock ‘n’ Roll theme) 1 p.m. — Downhill Kayak Races To enter either of Sunday’s events, please show up at least 30 minutes in advance.
