Camelot Remembered: John Fitzgerald Kennedy

1962: President Kennedy welcomes to the White House Vermont governor-elect Philip Hoff and his wife Joan. Hoff was the first Democrat elected governor in Vermont in more than a century.

Sen. John F. Kennedy and his wife, Jacqueline, were interviewed by legendary newsman Edward R. Murrow in their Boston apartment one month after they were married in 1953. Includes a brief tour around their apartment. (Murrow, who smoked 3 packs of cigarettes a day, died of lung cancer in 1965.)

    A very interesting history lesson that all should read. Was someone offended by the truth? censorship in Vermont? Nah.
