Video: 'Feed Your Passion: A Little Taste of Springfield'

The normally quiet Springfield Town Library came alive with music last evening along with some interesting exhibitors and free eats from local restaurants.

The Springfield Town Library and board of trustees are pleased to present the third annual "Feed Your Passion: A Little Taste of Springfield." This free, family friendly event will be held at from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 17.

A host of spirited Springfielders will be posted around the library ready to share and explain their particular passions, whether it be pedal-powered smoothies, board games, gardening or our local waterways. Don’t miss your favorites from past events, including the bearded lizard, Springfield Steampunkers and the art of Zentangling! Adding to the fun, the Stringfield Springers will stroll and play throughout the library.

Springfield area restaurants and fooderies, including the Springfield Food Coop, 371 Pizza, the Hartness House, Sheri's Place and more will share small bites crafted right here in Springfield. Bring an open mind and your own plate, and be ready to sample local fare and experience a range of brain food — all in one evening!

Whet your appetite for interesting things, and find food for thought at the Springfield Town Library, 43 Main St., in downtown Springfield, Vermont. For more information, call (802) 885-3108.
