SHS Alumni Day Parade

Saturday, June 17 – At 10 am, ALL traffic will be shut down coming into town in preparation of the parade commencing at 10:30 am.

The only exception will be those motorists needing to drop someone off that will be in the parade.

The parade route will be the customary route: Parking lot of Artisan Surfaces on Clinton Street to Riverside Middle School via Main Street. Detour routes will be established at Route 11/Seaversbrook Road and Mill Road/Route 106.

Westbound Detour to Route 106: Seavers Brook Road > South St > Union Street > Park Street > Chester Road > Fairground Road > Elm Street > Main Street N.S /Mill Road to Route 106.

Eastbound Detour from Route 106 to I91: Mill Road/Main Street N.S. > Elm Street > Fairground Road > Chester Road > Park Street > Union Street > South Street > Seavers Brook Road > Charlestown Road

Please be exceptionally cautious traveling this Saturday morning as traffic will be heavy and children and pedestrians will be in abundance on foot and on bicycles.

(Wear a sports uniform if you have one!)

Annual Meeting
1:00pm-2:00pm
Riverside Middle School, 13 Fairground Rd.
All are welcome to attend.
  • The minutes of the last meeting are read, both treasurer reports are given...All are voted on to be accepted. 
  • Election of the trustees whose terms are up. 
  • Awards are given to the class winners 
  • Suggestions from those present as to what the parade theme should be in "5" years which is voted on by the trustees in September.
