SPRINGFIELD, Vt. – The Springfield Town Library has boosted local passes for families with a great partnership with the Edgar May Recreation Center. Stop in and check out the free pass for family time at the Edgar May pool (140 Clinton Street) or Studio Open Play Thursday and Saturday mornings at 71 Main Street. All you need is the library card, free for any town resident of Springfield student. What if the pass you want is checked out? Put in your reserve and check out the other passes the library has available: the Billings Farm in Woodstock, Lincoln’s home Hildene, the American Precision Museum in Windsor, and more. passes “The Inquisitor’s Tale” by Adam Gidwitz. Photo provided. Looking for a good afterschool activity? The Springfield Town Library still has four places left in the Dorothy’s List club. The first book for the club is “The Inquisitor’s Tale” by Adam Gidwitz. Ages 11 to 13 can stop by the library for the book – read it by 4 p.m. Nov. 7, when you can trade it in for the next group read. All club meetings are held at the Children’s Library inside the door of the library. The Springfield Town Library is located at 43 Main Street, Springfield, Vt. The library has an accessible entrance, program area, and restrooms.
