  1. FAKE NEWS. This was reported by "INFO WARS"; literally, years ago and has been debunked each time by REAL JOURNALISTS.

Sorry, I was just looking for updates on Springfield VT news.

  2. If it is on the internet, especially FB,it must be true.

Thank heavens! Now we can look forward to three years of something other than Benghazi. I can hardly wait until they tie Hillary Clinton to it.

You know, each hearing must cost at least $100,000 (each of the 67 votes held simply to repeal Obamacare cost $1.5 million). I thought the GOP was the party of financial responsibility. Attempted revenge is fun as long as it's someone else's money.

  4. What I want to know is why Democrats would award Russia control of 20% of all the uranium here when they regard Russia as an adversary and think it is so very important to keep russian influence out of the U.S.

    1. You are making an uninformed point, just to make a political statement.

Infowars is not a credible source for information.

    2. Ha. Let's see. What sources conspired with Clinton to manufacture "Fake News"? ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, New York Times, Washington Post, Google, Facebook, NPR, Twitter and a whole lot more.

    3. You are using FAKE NEWS as facts against all democrats. WRONG - it is conservative conspiracy theory folks like yourself that is keeping FAKE NEWS alive.

  5. This info has been around for a long time and in fact a credible book "Clinton Cash" disclosed it over two years ago. Unfortunately the swamp always protects the Clinton crime family. Even Jeff Sessions has been afraid to take on the Clintons. The Democrats have redirected away from these crimes by attacking Trump with their fabricated Russia collusion tale. Democrats spent yesterday attacking Sessions to distract from the rekindling of the uranium story that was breaking news and gaining momentum.

    1. Clinton Cash a credible book....what a joke. Time for you to do some real fact-checking, not fake news and alternative facts. Schweizer, the author, admitted he had no hard evidence of any Clinton crimes. He has a history of sloppy reporting and endorsing conspiracy theories. It's nothing but a Right-wing hatchet job. Several of his claims had to be redacted because they were proven false. Not credible at all.

  6. Obama is no longer President. Hillary Clinton did not become President. Trump IS the President, and this is just another shabby attempt at diverting attention away from the unmitigated disaster the Trump Presidency is. Period.

    1. So we can't prosecute criminals unless they still hold a high ranking office? Ever hear of the "Rule of Law"? Selective political enforcement? Destroying evidence? Lois Lerner?

    2. And just what is the crime Obama supposedly committed 4:53? President while black, perhapse? I suppose lying on disclosure forms about Russian contacts doesn't count, especially if you're Attorney General? Most of Trump's cabinet have already committed federal felonies, and are under investigation for much worse. Pointing the finger at Obama and the Clintons may sell on Breitbart, but no sane, rational person is buying it! We KNOW who the real criminals are!

  7. Thankfully! VT and our neighboring states are not Trump Country.

    PLEASE STOP PROMOTING FAKE NEWS!!!

    1. Liberal Democrats are freaking out everywhere over the Clinton uranium crimes with Russia while $145,000,000 poured into the Clinton Family Foundation. Clinton even released many Soviet spies quietly to grease the deal. Time to lift a gag order on a key witness to the Clinton-Uranium scandal who is being prevented from telling the truth to the American public under the threat of criminal prosecution.

    2. Layoff the FAKE NEWS pal. Infowars is not news.

    3. Ha. Putting your head in the sand like an ostrich or elsewhere doesn't make reality and the truth disappear even though corrupt politicians and media try to. Is it fake news that both the US Senate Judiciary and the House Intelligence Committee are now opening investigating the Clinton Uranium Crimes, a far cry from Infowars?

    4. Hey 2:10, look in the mirror; your feathers are showing! Trumpco is the most corrupt administration in American history, and it's only nine months old!

Well, focusing on this latest alleged criminality of eight years ago will help distract us from the fact that the GOP intends to pass a "tax reform" bill that will HIKE the taxes the most of all on the middle class between 2018 and 2027, while giving a $1 trillion income tax cut to the 1%. And what will we in Springfield do about this? Answer: in 2027 we'll complain about our property taxes!

    1. Not to disagree with you, Chuck, but by 2027 our property taxes WILL be higher; that's what happens when the Federal Govt. cuts taxes for the wealthy. They then cut funding to states for things like roads and schools, and state and local taxes go up. Sadly, conservatives never make that connection; the two things that "Made America Great" were high taxes on the wealthy and the high wages of labor unions. Supply side economics is inherently deflationary; it drags the economy down, not up.

Quite well put, 7:49! We will moan and groan under the Springfield property taxes of 2027, but we won't consider how unfairly a decade's worth of GOP tax "reform" has hit us, probably because we will keep watching Fox News and haven't read people like Paul Krugman: https://krugman.blogs.nytimes.com/2017/09/30/shifts-get-real-understanding-the-gops-policy-quagmire/?module=BlogPost-Title&version=Blog%20Main&contentCollection=Opinion&action=Click&pgtype=Blogs&region=Body

  11. Why will you not publish my comments? They are always apropos to the article but because I occasionally criticize Trump (appropriately) they never appear.

Jerry, the reason is that Anonymous not only writes and signs all the bone-headed opinions but is also the administrator of this blog. At least you don't have to worry about Anonymous exercising "false equivalence."
