2017-10-18 / Springfield Union / Park Association to discuss garden and history projects SPRINGFIELD — The Union / Park Neighborhood Association will hold its Annual Meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18 at Union Street School in Springfield. The group will have a full agenda, in addition to election of officers for the coming year. Agenda items include discussion of a possible community garden in front of Union Street School, a neighborhood history project, collaboration projects with emerging groups in other Springfield neighborhoods, and follow-up reports on our July meeting with town officials and the Curb Appeal Challenge. The meeting is free and open to the public. Only residents of the Union / Park neighborhood can vote. The mission of UPNA is to build a vibrant, safe, and cohesive neighborhood, which consists of Union Street, Park Street and all of the smaller streets that connect with them.
