He joins over 50 Springfield Lions in providing community support for those in need of eye care, glasses, vision screening, disaster relief, and other needs. Steele was sponsored by Lion George Norfleet, a 33-year member and was inducted by Club President Jeff Perkins. Springfield Lions meet on the first and third Tuesday each month at 6 p.m. at VFW Post 771. Lions Clubs are a group of men and women who identify needs in the community and work together to fulfill those needs.
