Springfield Town Library May challenge book group

Join us at the Springfield Town Library Thursday, May 17 at 5:30 p.m. for the next meeting of the Library Challenge Book Group. Our challenge this month is to read a book that takes place in another country or one that you own but have never read.

We have many wonderful fiction and nonfiction books set in other countries. And don’t forget to check out our new books sections. You might try “The First Tour De France” by Peter Cossins, “Berlin 1936” by Oliver Hilmes or “Himalaya Bound” by Michael Benanav from the new nonfiction books or new fiction by Alexander McCall Smith, Jacqueline Winspear, Luis Alberto Urrea, Moriel Rothman-Zecher among others from our new fiction books.

Stop by the library to choose from our display or read one of your own. Pick up a library calendar or a list of the challenges, then join us for a lively discussion Thursday, May 17, at 5:30 p.m.

This lively book group is free and open to the public. To sign up, or for more information, please contact the library at 802-885-3108 or stlas@vermontel.net.
