Vermont Republican primary for governor: How Scott, Stern differ on issues

Gov. Phil Scott is facing a Republican primary challenger who thinks the incumbent's not doing enough to reduce government spending, protect gun rights or preserve local control over schools. Keith Stern, of Springfield, is the owner of Stern's Quality Produce in White River Junction and has never held office in state government before.

  2. Thank you Gov. Scott for eliminating the tax on Social Security.
Thank you Gov. Scott for putting into effect the legalization of "pot".
Thank you Gov. Scott for believing in NO increase in property tax. Teachers should pay their fair share. What makes them so special?
