    1. Like him or not.....the Springfield School District is no longer one of the very top spending districts in the State of Vermont (was top 5), now I believe in the upper middle as far as cost at this point of his tenure. Springfield has a high tax rate but the school system accounts for a little more than half. Not everyone is going to agree with the all the decisions that the leader of any organization has to make, particularly a public school, especially in Springfield.

  6. What we need in this town is a dictator like Trump (what he is heading to be). Mostly the high school drop outs support him. A Con artist whom they would have bought snake oil from and declared that it works. I like U better watch what is said else as in Russia off to never land to never be seen again.

    2. ANONY 7:35 = In Internet slang, a troll (/troʊl, trɒl/) is a person who starts quarrels or upsets people on the Internet to distract and sow discord by posting inflammatory and digressive,[1] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the intent of provoking readers into displaying emotional responses[2] and normalizing tangential discussion,[3] whether for the troll's amusement or a specific gain.

    3. Weird, I graduated high school, College and did 8 years in the military. I fully support Donald Trump. When did the Democratic party become so nasty? I always thought that you guys were the "tolerant party" I'm not going to get into a political squabble with another anonymous person on this site. I just thought I would give my two cents about the comment of only High School Dropout support Donald Trump.

    4. What goes around, comes around, 9:58. I served in the military and graduated from college as well. From my experience, the GOP has ALWAYS been nasty, they just put up a better front in years past. That facade of decency and respectability is gone in the Trump Era, and I'm glad the Republicans are finally showing their true colors! Educated or not, the level of bigotry and narcissism on the Right is unacceptable to most Americans, which is why only 29% of the country are registered Republicans! Trump's true level of support is only about 24%. Not enough to win, unless you cheat!

    5. Must admit, most likely without argument, the choice of president in the last election was terrible.

  8. Democrat liberals have ALWAYS been nasty and phony. Smile to your face while stabbing you in the back. They lead minority groups to vote for them by falsly proclaim themselves as their "saviors". What LIARS! Minorities have AWOKE! and realized the Clinton's and their ilk have LIED to them for decades! Keep digging liberal Democrat clowns......then jump into your well deserved graves!!! AMERICA HAS REACHED A NEW HORIZON UNDER OUR LEADER, TRUE LEADER......PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP!!!!!

    1. No that is not what it is, we all do not like Hussein, but we did not run him down like all these never Trumpers and Resister are these days. By running down the President you run down the Country and we stood back and let the 4 then 8 years past and kept our mouths as quite as we could. These Resisters don't like America, they only like a Liberal President that gives them hand outs, so now they are afraid of a Real Ppresident. MAGA

    2. Sorry, Roger, but we all remember the Birther Movement. Eight years of racial epithets and death threats. Don't try lying your way out of it, Trump was that movement's leader! The fact that you call Trump the "real" President says it all.

    1. Hussein? Come on, Roger! Do you REALLY expect anyone to buy this? How about a dose of your own medicine: "Mom, MOM! The Democrats are being mean to us....MOM, I need my binkie! WAAAAAAAA!"

    2. You have no clue, the Difference is Hussein never stood up to anyone, he would ask what does the polls say, then make a decision, Trump is standing up for all of us! That's the difference, no whining, stating the facts.

    3. Sure Roger, he REALLY stood up to Putin, who's STILL sabotaging our elections! Kim Jong Un is just QUAKING with fear, as he continues his nuclear program! And the Chinese are just BEGGING us to stop the tariffs, aren't they? Trump is a joke, and the joke is on us!

Well, another example of how well trolling works! We've gotten completely off the subject of education. My question is, what does our reduced school spending provide when we compare the rest of Vermont's public schools with Springfield's?

    1. Well, it wasn't really about education, it was about fixing up the schools. Thankfully, they're doing it, despite the trolls!
