  1. Who's idea was it to call the notice a "warning?" As if there is some danger involved in voting? A bit over-stated, I'd say!

    1. We know the word "warning" by its modern meaning, but it is also an old archaic word for "notice". I guess the town still follows 19th century rules for writing public documents.

    2. You're right, I have seen it used that way, historically. I just wasn't expecting it in a modern document. Come to think of it, the language used in deeds and real estate transactions here is pretty archaic, too! I guess that's Ye Olde New England for ya!

  2. Not A Springfield voter but I would not want my name and address posted on this site, if you don't know if you are registered or not you should not be voting because you have no control of your life so you probably have no idea of the issues.

    1. Whaaaaat?????? Roger, you've outdone yourself. Your post LITERALLY makes no sense whatsoever, and is THOROUGHLY irrelevant! You have proven that you are not only disconnected from Springfield, you're disconnected from objective reality! SCARY!

    2. Again with the caps, 12:07? Is it not possible for you to make a point without shouting?

    4. Anonymous Roger must be back from vacation. With your high intellect, I peg you as a campground vacationer. Sitting around a camp fire with your like minded friends bashing liberals and tell stories about how great Trump is... great fun.

In Internet slang, a troll (/troʊl, trɒl/) is a person who starts quarrels or upsets people on the Internet to distract and sow discord by posting inflammatory and digressive,[1] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the intent of provoking readers into displaying emotional responses[2] and normalizing tangential discussion,[3] whether for the troll's amusement or a specific gain.
