2018 Election – Click here for voter checklists, sample ballots and instructions

It's a rainy day out there but don't let that stop you from voting. Polls are open at Riverside School from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Are you even registered to vote and do you have to check in at the Windsor District 3-2 section or the Windsor District 3-1 section? Look for your name in these links:

Here is what today's ballots look like:

VOTING PROCESS--INSTRUCTIONS FOR VOTERS

• Go to the entrance checklist table, give your name, and if asked, your street address to the election official in a loud voice.

• Wait until your name is repeated and checked off by the official.

• If you want to use the accessible voting system tell the entrance checklist official at this time. An election official will take you to the accessible ballot marking device, enter a security code, and then leave you to mark and print your ballot privately. More details about our new accessible ballot marking device are available on our website at http://www.sec.state.vt.us . Click on Elections>Voters>Accessibility.

• Take the ballot from the election official and enter a voting booth. Once Inside the voting booth, mark your ballot for each race.

• To vote for a candidate, fill in the oval to the right of the name of the candidate. Do not vote for more candidate than the "Vote for not more than #" for each office. If you vote for more than the 'Note for not more than #," your vote will not count for that race.

• WRITE-IN candidate(s). To vote for someone whose name is not printed on the ballot, use the blank "write-in" line on the ballot and either write in the name or paste on a sticker, then fill in the oval.

• If you make a mistake or change your mind, DO NOT try to erase. Return your ballot and ASK an election official for a new ballot. If you make a mistake again, you may ask for another ballot. Each voter may have up to 3 ballots.

• To cast your voted ballot: insert your voted ballot into the tabulator machine near the gym exit.

• Leave the voting area immediately by passing outside the guardrail. All voters who are in line at the polling place at 7 p.m. will be permitted to vote. No voter can enter the polling place to vote after 7 p.m.

    2. In Internet slang, a troll (/troʊl, trɒl/) is a person who starts quarrels or upsets people on the Internet to distract and sow discord by posting inflammatory and digressive,[1] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the intent of provoking readers into displaying emotional responses[2] and normalizing tangential discussion,[3] whether for the troll's amusement or a specific gain.

  2. This town REALLY needs to clean up its voter rolls. I just went through them out of curiosity, and discovered many addresses on my street that I KNOW don't have that many people living in them! Some are people I used to know, who have moved. I wonder how many of them have died, and are still voting!!!!!!

    1. Just imagine this on a nation wide scale, it's can turn into voter fraud and really can skew the voting rights of us all.

    2. That won't matter much in Vermont. There aren't enough Trump supporters here to win, even if they do cheat!

    3. Sorry Roger, Tricks are for Kids. Just "imagine" if you had an intelligent thought. Now, go back to your infowar propaganda site.

    1. I was half joking about dead voters, but there are a number of people still on the rolls here that, at the very least, don't live where the rolls say they do. On that I'm completely serious. The voter rolls in Springfield need to be updated, BADLY!
