Trip to Boston to fund scholarships

The General Federation of Women’s Clubs of Vermont is sponsoring a trip to Boston to the Boston Flower Show, shopping and the St. Patrick’s Day celebration on March 17.

The trip is to raise funds for three annual scholarships aiding women who have lost spousal support and have plans to continue their education to pursue a career.

The round trip to Boston, including the Flower Show is $76. The price for travellers not wishing to see the Flower Show is $51. Meals are not included. Lunch will be available in Boston’s Faneuil Hall and dinner will be at a selected restaurant on the way back.

Bus leave Rutland at 6 a.m. with pick-ups in Ludlow, Springfield and Bellows Falls.
