Local Democrats will be holding their 2012 caucus this Saturday morning at the Springfield Town Library and all interested Springfield Democrats are invited to attend.
The purpose of the caucus is to elect delegates from the Town of Springfield to the Democrats' state convention, to be held in Barre on the 26th of May. Delegates to the State Convention which will elect delegates to the National Convention. Anyone with an interest in being a delegate to the National Convention, will surely want to attend this party caucus.
The caucus is this Saturday morning March 24th and begins at 10:00 a.m. Individuals need to have voted in Presidential Primary and taken a Democrat ballot to vote in the caucus.
