New Exhibition at the Great Hall opens

If Vermont had an artist laureate, Sabra Field would be it. Field’s landscape woodblock prints have captured the soul of Vermont for decades.

  2. re: "including a timely print of President Obama’s first inaugural, which Field and her son Paul attended."

You can't make this crap up. I can only be glad Edwin R. Fellows is dead & buried to not have to suffer the indiscretion of having his legacy forged by the brilliance and hard work of so many local residents reduced to nothing more then a bathroom stall wall for an obscene political statement.

  3. Re: “It’s a very sophisticated space,” said Field. “It’s pure poetry.”

It used to be - when it was a humming machine tool mecca researching, developing, manufacturing, and exporting machine tool technology around the world. Now it's merely a loftily named space used to display mediocrity.

  4. The Great Hall is wonderful ! I hear they are building a high pedestal - where Bob Flint - will be able to stand on. They are dedicating it - calling it the "Pedestal for Bob Flint".
