Man makes a deal
on cocaine charge
WHITE RIVER JUNCTION — A Windsor man who cooperated with Springfield investigators made a plea deal to reduce his felony drug charge to a misdemeanor.
Paul Reynolds, 31, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor cocaine possession Tuesday in White River Junction criminal court. He also admitted to violating a curfew condition.
Reynolds was sentenced to serve three to six months with all but 20 days suspended in favor of probation. He must undergo substance abuse treatment as part of his plea deal.
Springfield police reported finding cocaine in Reynold’s pants pocket on Feb. 4 after a traffic stop.
Reynolds began cooperating with police on the sale of “bath salts” in the Springfield area, police said.
The Catch and release season is still in full swing.
