Market Madness Street Fair returns in August July 24,2014 Street fair back in August SPRINGFIELD — Save the date of Aug. 20 for the third annual Market Madness Street Fair. The fair will be held downtown between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and will feature food, music, events and activities for young and old alike. There will be an expanded Springfield Farmers Market featuring local produce, local meats, eggs, honey, jams, jellies, pies, cookies and local roasted coffee, as well as prepared foods like pirogues. There will be classic cars and antique tractors on display, a barbecue, other local foods and Harpoon Brew on tap. There will be Kid’s Corner activities including carnival games, an ice cream social, a quilt raffle and music throughout the event. Gallery at the VAULT is sponsoring a basket weaving demonstration, and will also host the annual Artful Flea event.
