Madness is poetry in a poet less world.
The yard sales all over polka dotting the streets, puppies and smiles on half of those that you meet. The bands skillfully plying their art to the beat, aromas so tingly delicious and sweet.
It was so great to come out and see all the things in the beautiful weather that autumn does bring, with just enough cool chill for the birds on the wing and plenty of sun shine warming crickets which sing.
The cars all nice classics polished and finely tuned. The trees leaves turning purple and nicely festooned. Adding flare to the landscape they placed a balloon, A fun place for the family all afternoon.
Market Madness Street Fair by Springfield on the Move Mrs. Lighthall sure managed to get the town to groove. The townsfolk all came out to show they approved. There was not the first vendor that I would remove.
David, there to help Carol, put more fliers up. Three years this thing has been around is the gossip. Crafts and food and ice cold Harpoon beer by the cup, kids tents, ice cream and of course good maple syrup.
Fresh local artsy fun, the principal that drives, this yearly gathering into the people’s lives. Khloe, the dog, was gave a big surprise, at the kissing booth with her bright beautiful eyes.
More vendors were there to suit almost every need. Jewelry to adorn, thrift goods and homemade beads, Chickens raised on the farm, no need to have to plead, Concessions stands galore were there to help feed.
Jump castle for the kids, massage for the adults. Artful Flea offered by Gallery at the Vault. Pleasing to the eye are things that the artists wrought. If I were more agile then I would somersault.
To sponsors of this grand event many thanks do go. With out the help of half these folks, no one would know about the sights smells and sounds of this awesome show. The perfect sort of thing to help the town grow.
Mr. G's, Rotary Club, Gene and Carol Guy, Peoples Bank, associates there from Lane Eye, Springfield GMC and Buick, did truly try to ensure that classic automobiles rode by.
Too many more to name did support this event. I am glad to exist, though twice as glad I went. So much fun, that every dime was money well spent. To the cause, these sponsors know not, how much it meant.
So come one come all to see this again next year. Bring out the family to share in all the cheer. Have some pie, cotton candy, grab yourself a beer. No way you could be dismayed, so no cause to fear.
You'll have no greater time in fall, this I will bet. Do you wonder if I am done rhyming? Not yet. If you want to know more about the cause, don't fret, Catch them on the web, Springfieldonthemove.net.
