SPRINGFIELD — The Springfield Rotary Club welcomed their newest member Sue Dana in the category of Certified Public Accountant. Rotary President Carol Cole and Member Sponsor Lori Muse officially greeted Dana during a brief induction Sept. 16. A CPA since 2001, Dana spent time working in San Francisco, California, and returned to Springfield to establish her firm, Sue Dana, CPA. Since opening her office on Main Street in 2006, she has been actively involved in various community organizations and efforts, including the Springfield Regional Chamber of Commerce and helped spearhead the reopening of the Springfield Cinemas 3. Sue was honored with her efforts and commitment to her community by being honored as the 2013 Citizen of the Year. Dana lives in North Springfield with her two children, Paul and Emma. The Springfield Rotary Club is committed to service and fellowship, creating a better world for all. All money realized through the various fundraising efforts of the club including the annual Penny Sale is given to worthwhile charities and community needs.
