WOODSTOCK — The Wasps were swarming around the Springfield goal.
Alex Crompton got to the Cosmos first with one of his two goals. Connor McCarthy also had a pair. Patrick Bald, Kurt Ryder, Mason Thompson and Collin Campbell each added one.
Woodstock, 7-1-2, travels to Waitsfield on Monday to face Green Mountain Valley School.
Tanner Schumpski scored a late goal for Springfield to avoid the shutout.
The Cosmo’s record falls to 1-10..
