A crash involving three trucks and two cars shut down the NB lanes of I-91 in Weathersfield for three hours on Monday. Police say Jeziah Chevalier 20 of Springfield was driving a 2011-loaded International TT unit when he lost visibility in a white out and rear-ended a Vermont Agency of Transportation Plow. The plow driven by Kevin Richardson 56, of North Springfield went off the left shoulder of the roadway and rolled onto its left side in the median. The International veered towards the right and hit a Volkswagen Golf forcing it off the right shoulder of the roadway. After the initial accident another tractor trailer stopped when it came upon scene and it was hit in the rear by another car. Two people were taken to local hospitals for minor injuries. Police issued Jeziah Chevalier a citation for following to close. Ascutney Fire Department assisted at the scene.
