Rite-Aid robbery arrest

A Bellows Falls woman has been arrested for allegedly robbing the Springfield Rite-Aid.

On February 23, 2015 at approximately 1056 hours the Springfield Rite-Aid was robbed by an armed individual of an undefined amount of money. Springfield Police Officers responded to the scene and were later assisted by surrounding agencies such as VSP and Weathersfield PD in attempting to located the suspect involved. After numerous tips and further investigation officers interviewed and subsequently arrested Mary Graves for the alleged offense of Assault and Robbery.

The Springfield Police Department appreciates and thanks greatly our community for the information, tips, and support provided that aided in the arrest of the alleged offender.

We would also like to thank the Vermont State Police, Weathersfield Police Department, and Bellows Falls Police Department for their assistance with this incident.







-- March, 2009: Mary Graves, 23, of Brattleboro, was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department Feb. 26 for an active arrest warrant. She was also found to have operated a vehicle while her license was under criminal suspension. She pleaded not guilty in court Feb. 27 and was released on a $2,500 surety bond. If convicted, she faces up to two years in prison, $5,000 in fines, or both.

The Brattleboro Police initiated a motor vehicle stop on William Street. The operator was identified as Mary Graves, 25, of Brattleboro, VT. Mary's license was discovered to be under criminal suspension. She was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. She was issued a citation to appear at the Windham County District Court to answer the charge. 


-- On April 4, 2014 at approximately 7:35 p.m., the Bellows Falls Police Department received information of a possible drug transaction behind the senior center. Following an investigation, Mary E. Graves, 28, of Bellows Falls, was arrested for sale and possession of heroin and violation of conditions of release. Brian Deistler, 24, of Westminster, was arrested and charged with possession of heroin and violation of his conditions of release. Both were ordered to appear in court at a later date

-- On May 22, 2014, the Windham County Sheriff's Department arrested Mary Graves, 29, of Bellows Falls, on a warrant for failure to appear in court for an arraignment. She was taken into custody and later was released on bail.
