  1. Gave them a try a while back. Very disappointed in the quality for the high cost per pound. Five almost meatless ribs for fifteen bucks. Ouch!

  2. Springfield's own Phantom Gourmet.
What a nice job this young lady did...pictures and a well written review of the cute little food wagon.
I will definitely give it a try.

  3. Poppers ? I don't think I would get them again. Not that great for the money.

  4. My daughter is the one in the article. She runs a small blog and does many reviews, her reviews are her own experience, she doesnt get paid to give a positive review and she is always honest with her experience. When I asked her where she wanted to go for her birthday lunch, she choose this place.
She loves that smoked meat flavor, I personally do not care much for it and I usually do not eat it.
It was a cold day that day but these two guys were out there cooking up some great smelling meats!
My daughter ordered a pulled pork sandwich, hand cut fried and home made coleslaw and since I was hungry and it smelled so good, I order the same. To my surprise, I really enjoyed it. The meat was "melt in your mouth" tender and had a great taste, it had a prefect smoke flavor and it wasnt that "smoke from a bottle" flavor I have had at other BBQ places.
The fries were crispy and the slaw was nice and juicy, not dry like some. I have to admit, I am now a fan of this place and I will go back and try something different, I heard that the brisket is amazing!
I have to tell those who complain about the prices that you get what you pay for, if you want something cheap, that's what its going to taste like!
I think these two guys do a great job and for them to stand out in the snow and cold, they sure love what they are doing!

  5. Thank you for also telling us about what you had and how well you liked it. Your daughter did a great job and I hope she can get into some of the other restaurants to give us her review.
