  1. Oh my, this isn't going to go over very well with the lords and wards of the nanny state!

  2. I'll bet old Jeff loved that pay check when he was working for a vocational rehabilitation agency...but now he has some free time and thought he would call Russ Limburger and tell him he is on a quilt trip because these programs just aren't working and more and more people are depending on hand outs.
Old Jeff didn't feel that way when he was part of the problem, but now, well he thought he would clear the deck and call Limburger who he always thought of as a coach for him.
And by the way Limburger...who heck is Jeff From Springfield, Vt???

    1. It's Rush Limbaugh, not Russ Limburger. As I was driving through Pennsylvania on Friday I was excited to hear someone calling Rush from my hometown of Springfield. The idea of vocational rehabilitation is just that, to help someone back on their feet. The idea of helping someone in need is to give them a hand up, not a perpetual hand out. Why all the anger against someone like Jeff or Rush? Those who need help deserve help, but there are plenty who take advantage of the system. What's wrong with trying to rectify that??

    2. Did the call to Limburger make any sense at all to you? Jeff just wanted to clear the deck about how things aren't like they were when he first started out on the program/s. Was that a confession of some kind and he wanted Limburger to save him from all the guilt that he feels now.
Limburger is the last person on my list of people that I would ask advice from.
The whole thing was dumb...and Limburger is dumb!!!

    3. Actually insisting on calling someone by a stupid incorrect name is dumb. You may not agree with Rush but he certainly isn't dumb. I doubt you've ever listened to him except for a few snippets that were put out there out of context to make him look bad. Why do you guys have to resort to calling people dumb just because you don't agree with them, are you that afraid? I don't agree with Obama at all, or other liberal politicians, but I certainly wouldn't call them dumb.

  3. Jeff mentored my return to my professional career after a major illness. Although my prognosis was dismal and I was on full disability, I wanted to work, and he supported that decision. The State of Vt. had a person cross-trained in federal benefits vs. jobs ie if you try to return to work you;re not going to be left in the cold. Jeff and I met with her twice and I was grateful for the support. Thank you Jeff.

  4. As a local employer that has FIRST HAND experience dealing with both HCRS and VocRehab, I can bear witness to the accuracy of Jeff's words. I now despise the systems that purposely destroy a "clients" self respect that comes from self sufficiency. The system is broke and it's only getting worse.

Is that Jeff, or is that some other Jeff? If it's the Jeff I knew, he'd step forward to verify the call.

    1. If it means revealing that he actually knows you, that's probably not likely to happen!
