Springfield Police said Wesley Wing, the victim of Saturday's shooting, has died.

Police are investigating a shooting in Springfield, Vermont.

According to authorities, the 37-year-old succumbed to his gun shot injuries at 2:30 a.m. Sunday at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
Wing was allegedly shot near Jake's South Street Market on South Street in Springfield around 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
Police said Wing was then airlifted to the hospital where he underwent surgery.
Authorities are currently looking for the gunman as well as a potential witness who was in a newer-model black Infiniti with Vermont license plates.
Police said the shooting seems to have been an isolated incident and the public is safe.
