CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Chester, Vermont

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 06/05/2015 at approximately 18:50 hours the Springfield Police Department received a call about an alleged intoxicated subject leaving Joe's Discount Beverage.

Officers located the subject, who was identified as Christopher Holley, on Union Street. Holley was arrested for allegedly operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

Holley was issued a citation to appear in Windsor County Superior Court Criminal Division on June 16, 2015

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: Springfield Police were dispatched to South St. in Springfield, VT for a report of a juvenile problem.

Upon investigation, a 16 year old female was cited into Windsor Superior Court-Family Division for alleged violation of conditions of release, disorderly conduct, unlawful mischief, attempted escape, resisting arrest and false information to a police officer.

Martin Gonyea
AGE: 28
Bellows Falls, Vermont

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On May 30, 2015 the Springfield Police Department took a report of theft from Joe's Discount Beverage.

The alleged offender was identified as Martin Gonyea. He was located and cited for the alleged offense and will appear in Windsor County Superior Court Criminal Division on July 28, 2015



DUI Accident with Injury Resulting

AGE: 76
Chester, Vermont

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: Springfield Police responded to the intersection of Route 106 and Mill Road in North Springfield, Vermont, to investigate a two-vehicle collision.

The defendant allegedly rear-ended a vehicle that was stopped on Route 106 waiting to turn onto Mill Road resulting in allegations of personal injury.

The defendant was subsequently arrested for allegedly operating while under the influence of alcohol Cole was issued a citation to appear in in Windsor County Superior Court - Criminal Division on June 16, 2015

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: Springfield Police conducted a motor vehicle stop for a traffic violation.

Upon investigation, Sophia Augusta Stone was cited into Windsor Superior Court-Criminal Division on August 4, 2015 for alleged Criminal-DLS, Violation of Conditions of Release and False Information to a Law Enforcement Officer.



Accessory to the Commission of a Felony

George Tarbell
AGE: 30
Jamaica, VT

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On January 28, 2015 the Windsor County Credit Union in Springfield, VT was robbed by a male suspect with the assistance of a co-conspirator.

On February 17, 2015 the Citizen's Bank in Springfield, VT was robbed by a male suspect with the possible assistance of a co-conspirator.

With the assistance of multiple surrounding area agencies both incidents were investigated by the Springfield Police Department.

After completing the ongoing investigations, George Tarbell was issued a criminal citation at the Southern State Correction Facility (currently lodged on alleged separate charges) to appear in Vermont Superior Court for his alleged involvement in both robberies as the alleged co-conspirator.

Tarbell will appear in Windsor County Superior Court - Criminal Division on August 4, 2015 to answer to the new allegations against him.



Robbery of Citizen's Bank - Arrest Made
June 9, 2015

Matthew Martin
AGE: 30
Weathersfield, VT

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On February 17, 2015 the Citizen's Bank in Springfield Vermont was robbed by a male suspect possibly aided by a co-conspirator.

Multiple area agencies responded to provide assistance at this time.
An investigation in to this incident revealed the alleged involvement of Matthew Martin as the alleged robber and a potential co-conspirator.

On June 9, 2015 after completing this investigation a criminal citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court was served on Martin at the Southern State Correctional Facility for his alleged involvement.

Martin remains lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility for his alleged involvement in other offenses.

Martin will appear in Windsor County Superior Court - Criminal Division on August 11, 2015 to answer to the new allegations against him.
