Chamber of Commerce welcomes Jake's South Street Market

The new owners of Jake’s South Street Market will be hosting a Grand Opening Celebration from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 18.

SPRINGFIELD — The Springfield Regional Chamber of Commerce would like to welcome the new owners of Jake’s South Street Market to their membership. Owners Sam Harvey, Erin Crawford Harvey, Kevin Fratini and Meghan Fratini purchased Jake’s South Street Market six months ago and have been busy updating the space and, along with their staff, continue the tradition of providing great food and friendly customer service to the community. They are adding new recipes to the old favorites and are offering ready-to- grill and ready-to-bake meals to their meat case. They have a stocked deli. The new owners of Jake’s South Street Market will be hosting a Grand Opening Celebration from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 18, on the lawn between the market and Players Studio at 181 South St., in Springfield. The whole community is invited and there will be live music, door prizes donated from local businesses, food samples and free hot dogs while supplies last. They are planning activities for kids including face painting and live appearances from Scooby-Doo and Minnie Mouse. The In-Town Famous Chicken Barbecue will be set up.
