AGE: 22
Reading, VT

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On August 25, 2015 the Springfield Rite-Aid was burglarized & Citizen's Bank ATM in the Plaza was excessively damaged by numerous subjects.

Investigation into these incidents resulted in 3 burglaries of Downer's Four Corners store, an attempted Burglary of Irving N. Springfield, the Burglary of Jake's South Street Market, the Burglary of Rite-Aid and the Vandalism of the Citizen's Bank ATM being solved.

With the assistance of State Police and Weathersfield PD, items were recovered and information was provided that resulted in identifying 6 alleged subjects being involved in one or more of the 7 crimes (that occurred in the Springfield/Weathersfield areas).

This defendant was cited into Vermont Superior Court for their alleged involvement in 2 of the Downer's Four Corners store burglaries, the Vandalism of Citizens ATM and the Rite-Aid burglary.

Korbyn Bacon
AGE: 20
Westminster, VT

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On November 22, 2015, officers responded to Shaw's Supermarket for a shoplifting call. It was reported that a male subject allegedly placed several cans of twisted tea in a backpack and left the store.

The suspect was identified as Korbyn Bacon by witnesses at the scene. Bacon has yet to be located, thus a warrant is being requested.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: Springfield Police were dispatched to Wall St. in Springfield, VT for a report of an intoxicated male subject.

Upon investigation, Brian Butler was cited into Windsor Superior Court-Criminal Division for alleged 2nd degree aggravated domestic assault.

Butler was ordered to appear on January 4, 2016 and was lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility-Springfield in lieu of $2,000.00 cash or surety

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: Springfield Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Clinton St. near Seavers Brook Rd.

Upon investigation, Austin O'Connor was cited into Windsor Superior Court-Criminal Division for alleged negligent operation.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: Police were called to the Dollar General for a shoplifter. Upon arrival, Groshens allegedly concealed merchandise in her pocket book, went through the check out line without paying for it, and left the point of sale.

When confronted she allegedly went back into the store and attempted to hide the alleged stolen merchandise.
